Adams Hosts "Pictures with Santa"

Santa Claus made at visit to John Adams Elementary on Friday, December 2. Mr. Emiliani and the Bulldog community created a festive environment for the school family. Students and their families enjoyed activities such as arts and crafts, basket raffles, cookies, hot chocolate, and of course pictures with Santa. All of which was made possible through the generosity of the faculty and staff, PTA, volunteers from SHS Penn Serve Club, Aramark, and everyone who donated items for the event.

John Adams' First Annual "Harvest Feast" Serves Over 200 Guests

Over 200 people in the Adams community recently enjoyed a turkey dinner, made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor. Students from Scranton High and Northeast Intermediate served the meals to guests.

Adams Delivers Harvest Feast Leftovers to St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen

John Adams Elementary had several pans of leftover food from their first annual "Harvest Feast" which fed over 200 people. Principal Mario Emiliani decided to keep spreading the holiday cheer by donating the leftovers to the St. Francis of Assisi soup kitchen. The chef was very grateful for the thoughtful gesture!

The John Adams community held their annual "Back to School Night" last evening. The students and their families enjoyed a visit from the district's STEAM Mobile!

Adams Receives 200 Free Railriders Tickets

200 Adams Elementary students and their families will be attending tonight's Railriders playoff game for free! Mrs. Fried reached out to the organization when she heard that "Mr. October" Reggie Jackson would be attending the game to discuss the importance of education and staying in school.
