OFFICIAL LAUNCH of JOHN ADAMS SPIRIT WEAR WEBSTORE!!!

The John Adams spirit wear webstore officially launches today! Please follow the link to the webstore.

There is also a link under "Quick Links" on left of page and a button on the right side of page.

Anyone purchasing spirit wear is encouraged to use the webstore to place order with a credit card/debit card. You will receive a confirmation for your order.

All spirit orders are due Monday, October 8th. Delivery of merchandise will be made by Thursday, October 25th.

Order forms will be sent home with students. If you decide to order using the paper order form we accept EXACT CHANGE or Check. Checks are made payable to: John Adams Student Activities Fund.

Adams Parent and Family Right to Know Letter 9/10/18

Attached you will find the Adams Elementary Parent Right to Know letter.


This letter informs parents of their rights to school and teacher information for Admas under the Elementary and Secondary Assistance (ESEA) and Every Student Succeeds Act. Paper copies were sent home on 9/10/18. Thank you.

ELD Parent and Family Informational Night

The regional ELD Parent and Family Informational Night will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2018 @ 6:30pm at Northeast Intermediate School. Parents and families please come and join us in the auditorium at NSIS. We hope to see you there!

Back To School Fair

John Adams Elementary will be hosting its 1st annual Back to School Fair. This event will take place Tuesday, August 29th form 5-7pm on the playground of John Adams. Please join us for this fun filled family event. It is a great way to kick off the new school year. Various community agencies will be participating as well as our business partner Scranton Running Co. Food, raffle baskets, giveaways, and live music will also be part of the back to school celebration. We hope to see you there!

Children's Produce Market

Scranton School District students volunteered to assist with food distribution at the monthly Children's Produce Market. Lackawanna College Baseball Team Visits Adams

Some really wonderful students from Lackawanna College's baseball team stopped by John Adams and read to several classes. Our students also heard about the importance of education and even got a few autographs from the players!
